The Rafto Foundation

The NHH Symposium has entered a collaboration with the Rafto Foundation with the aim of putting human rights on the agenda. The Rafto Foundation was established in 1986 in memory of Professor Thorolf Rafto and his work for human rights. The Foundation’s purpose is «to work for human rights, primarily freedom of spirit, political freedom, and economic freedom», and annually give out the Rafto Prize.
