Victor Norman is an exceptionally talented economist and communicator. He has a 40- year long career as professor in economics at the Norwegian School of Economics behind him, and from 1999-2001 he was rector at the school. He earned his bachelor’s degree at Yale University, and a PhD from MIT. During his career he has authored several books and is one of the leading economists within theory of international trade. From 2001-2004 Norman served as Minister of Labor and Government Administration. He is concerned with the relevance and applicability of the Economics field, how it can provide deeper insights in and understanding of our society, and how it can contribute to better decisions for companies and politicians.
