Yngve Slyngstad is Chief Executive Officer of Norwegian Bank Investment Management, which is the part of the Norwegian Central Bank that is responsible for managing The Government Pension Fund – Global – the world’s largest sovereign wealth fund, with a market value of approximately a trillion US dollars . Prior to joining Norwegian Bank Investment Management, Mr. Slyngstad held the position of Chief Investment Officer Asian Equities at Storebrand Asset Management. He holds a master’s degree in law from the University of Oslo and a master’s degree in business management from the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH). He also has a master’s degree in economics from the University of California and a master’s degree in political science from the University of Paris.
