Chief of Norwegian Armed Forces

We are proud to welcome Chief of Defence Eirik Kristoffersen as a speaker at the NHH Symposium 2025!

In 2020, Kristoffersen became the head of the Norwegian Armed Forces. He has served in several national and international operations, including in Lebanon and Afghanistan. Due to his operational contributions, Kristoffersen is the highest-decorated officer in the top leadership of the Armed Forces. In 2011, he was awarded Norway's highest military honor, the War Cross with Sword, for his efforts in Afghanistan. In 2014, he received the Armed Forces' Gender Equality Award for promoting women's participation in the special forces.

Today, Kristoffersen leads the effort to shape the future of the Armed Forces as they face new opportunities and challenges.
