Karl Johnny Hersvik is CEO of Aker BP, one of Norway's leading oil and gas companies. Ten years earlier, Hersvik was research director in Statoil (now Equinor), and held several professional and managerial positions in Norsk Hydro and StatoilHydro.

Hersvik has extensive experience in the oil and energy sector. He has been a strong driver of digitalization and technology development, which has contributed to Aker BP's goal of delivering sustainable growth and profitability. Hersvik and Aker BP aim to develop tomorrow's oil and gas industry with lower emissions and increased efficiency.
