We are proud to announce that Sverre Thornes, CEO of KLP, is among the speakers at NHH Symposium 2025! With over 25 years of experience from the financial sector and a strong understanding of how geopolitical developments affect economies and societies, Thornes will provide insight into how responsible investments can help address global challenges.

Thornes began his career at KLP in 1995 as a fixed income manager, and later became head of KLP Kapitalforvaltning from 2001 to 2006. With experience as Executive Vice President of Life Insurance from 2006 to 2008, he became CEO in 2008. Trained as a stockbroker and economist from the American College in Paris, he combines his financial expertise with a strong commitment to environmental responsibility and social sustainability.
