The future of work

The New Crew

How is AI changing the way we work, organize and develop people?

AI is changing more than how individual tasks get done; the technology challenges the very structures working life is built around. This session is about what tomorrow’s workforce, leadership and organizations will look like as AI becomes an ever larger part of the work.

We want to move the conversation from tools and efficiency to the more fundamental consequences: what happens to talent development when entry-level roles shrink, how do you lead when both people and AI agents do the work, and which skills and judgement will matter most going forward?

We also want to challenge business to see itself from the perspective of students and educational institutions, and to explore how responsibility for developing tomorrow’s skills should be shared between education, employers and the individual.

Questions we explore

  • What does the organization of the future look like when people and AI agents work side by side?
  • What does it actually mean to lead AI agents?
  • Which skills become more (and less) valuable as AI can do more and more of the work?
  • Where is the line between using AI as support and outsourcing your own critical thinking?
  • Who will become tomorrow’s leaders if the entry-level jobs that have traditionally developed them disappear?
  • How must the relationship between universities, students and business change when skill needs change faster than degree programmes?
  • How can companies make use of AI without weakening the expertise and judgement they will depend on in the long run?
  • What will future skill needs look like? How is the talent pool changing? How must educational institutions, recruiters and students rethink when skill requirements change faster than before?
